We are an innovative electric bike company dedicated to making green transportation accessible to all. Our passion is designing high-performance yet affordable electric bikes that enhance people’s lives and reduce environmental impact.

Our Story

The idea for Zeegr® Ebikes was born in 2015 when our founder, John Smith, wanted a greener way to commute to his office job without arriving sweaty or exhausted. As an avid cyclist and engineer, John recognized the potential of electric bikes to transform transportation. However, high costs and lack of quality options prevented widespread adoption.

John believed that electric bikes could promote sustainability while improving people’s health and happiness. With this vision in mind, he set out to launch Zeegr® and create high-quality, feature-rich eBikes at radically fair prices.

Initially starting operations in John’s garage, demand for Zeegr® eBikes grew rapidly through word-of-mouth. Before long, we had moved into a small warehouse and hired our first employees. Fast forward to today, and Zeegr® has grown into one of the most popular electric bike brands in the US!

We offer an expanding range of electric bike models to suit every need and budget. Our current lineup includes:

• Cruiser: Our laidback cruiser eBike exudes vintage style while providing a comfortable upright riding position. The stepthrough frame makes mounting easy, and it comes fully loaded with a rear rack, fenders, and handlebar basket. The 250W motor assists you up to 20 mph.
• Commuter: Sleek, light, and optimized for urban riding. The Commuter features a 500W motor, removable battery, throttle assist up to 28mph, and unique triangular frame. Integrated lights, fenders, and rear rack make it a perfect all-weather city eBike.
• Mountain: Conquer every trail with power to spare thanks to a state-of-the-art 750W mid-drive motor. Full suspension soaks up bumps while the durable aluminum frame charges through tough terrain. Fat knobby tires provide unstoppable traction.
• Folding: The perfect travel companion folds up in seconds for easy carrying or storage in your car trunk. Equipped with 20-inch wheels, 250W rear motor, and a removable battery. Weighs just 37 pounds for incredible portability.
• E-Trike: Our electric tricycle provides unparalleled stability through three points of contact with the ground. The cushioned seat, adjustable handlebars, and low stepthrough allow riders of all abilities to enjoy an effortless ride. Includes a large rear basket.

Our Technology

All Zeegr® eBikes utilize advanced technology to deliver an unbeatable riding experience. Key features include:

• Pedal assist system: Sophisticated torque sensors determine how much power you’re putting in and automatically provide proportional electric assistance up to 20mph. Makes riding easy without sacrificing exercise.
• Rechargeable battery: Our lightweight lithium-ion batteries recharge in 4-6 hours and provide a range of 30-60 miles depending on model. Batteries lock securely into frames for safe riding.
• Responsive motors: We use only the most reliable, high-efficiency brushless hub motors or mid-drive motors depending on the eBike model. Motors respond immediately to your pedaling.
• Intelligent controls: Our LED displays allow you to easily select between power modes and monitor battery level. Some models feature a smart walk-assist mode that moves the eBike forward slowly.
• Safety focused: Features like integrated lights, reflectors, and hydraulic disc brakes make our eBikes as safe as they are fun to ride. Our electric systems disengage above 20mph.

Our Manufacturing

Zeegr® eBikes are designed in California and built using a hybrid manufacturing model. Initial prototyping and design testing takes place at our R&D facility to refine eBike models.

Once ready for production, we partner with some of the top electric bicycle factories in China. All factories are selected based on quality, working conditions, and environmental standards. During manufacturing, our engineers supervise production runs and perform extensive pre-shipment inspections.

By combining California innovation with disciplined outsourced manufacturing, we can deliver amazingly advanced and affordable eBikes while maintaining strong quality control. We passed independent ISO 9001 certification for quality management.

The pioneering founder of Zeegr®, John leads the company with vision and determination. He sets the strategic direction while pushing constant innovation. Originally an electrical engineer by trade, John brings a technical excellence to all design and engineering initiatives.

Sarah Davis, Chief Marketing Officer

Our marketing genius, Sarah helped Zeegr’s brand and community grow from scratch into one of the most recognizable eBike brands online. She manages marketing operations, brand positioning, events, affiliate programs, and influencer partnerships.

Mark Brown, Lead Engineer

Mark heads up Zeegr’s engineering team and spearheads R&D efforts to launch next-gen eBike models. He works closely with John to translate concepts into reality by leveraging the latest EV technologies. Mark is an avid motorhead and thrill-seeker when not engineering state-of-the-art e-drivetrains.

In addition to the leadership team, Zeegr® employs over 50 talented individuals in roles ranging from designers, engineers, and customer support reps to supply chain analysts and logistics coordinators.
